PacifiCorp also works closely with the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, an organization that works with manufacturers, retailers and consumers to help transform the energy market to higher efficiency standards.

The company sets conservation targets based on its Integrated Resource Plan. During the development of the resource plan, both demand-side (conservation efforts) and supply-side (new development) options are evaluated on a 20-year horizon.
