A diverse set of generation resources serve a diverse group of customers. PacifiCorp relies on a variety of generation resources, both to maintain a balanced system and to ensure that all of its customers have access to reliable electricity supplies.

In addition to coal-fired, gas-fired and hydroelectric plants, PacifiCorp’s generation system includes a mix of power including thermal generation, mining, hydro power, and renewable energy.

PacifiCorp operates recreation areas within its system through its local companies, Pacific Power and Utah Power. These recreation areas provide camping fishing, boating and picnicking facilities.
