PacifiCorp Recreation Rules: Lewis River Parks and Campgrounds

 

Vehicle/Parking Rules    

  • The speed limit in all recreation areas is 10 miles per hour.
  • Parking is permitted only in designated areas.
  • Use only designated roadways and paths.
  • The use of motorbikes, off-road-vehicles and snowmobiles is not allowed in recreation areas.

 

Recreation Rules

 

  • The use or possession of alcohol or cannabis is not permitted in any PacifiCorp campground or day-use area.
  • All applicable laws regarding public safety, illegal substances, sanitation, boating and fires will be enforced.
  • All fires shall be confined to fireplaces installed by PacifiCorp or manufactured grills.  Disposable grills are not permitted.
  • Fireworks and other explosives are not permitted.
  • The discharge of firearms or other devices discharging projectiles within or near any recreation area is not permitted.  Open carry of firearms is not permitted in parks.
  • Damage to trees, vegetation or facilities is not permitted. Wildlife is not to be disturbed. No trees – alive or dead – shall be cut for firewood or any other purpose.
  • Ground disturbing activities, such as digging associated with metal detection, is not permitted anywhere on PacifiCorp property.
  • Operation of public address systems or other noise producing devices is not permitted. Similarly, loud music or any other noise that affects others within the campground or day-use area is not permitted. Quiet hours are from
    10 p.m. to 8 a.m.                                                      
  • Pets shall be under owner’s control and physically restrained by leashes no more than 6 feet in length at all times.  Do not leave pets unattended.  Pet owners shall put animal waste in plastic bags and either remove it from the premises or dispose of it in trash receptacles.
  • Commercial use is not permitted without prior written permission of PacifiCorp. Commercial use includes vending merchandise, site rentals, equipment sales or rentals, advertising, providing services, etc.  Please see event guidelines for more information.
  • Please place bottles, cans, paper, garbage, extinguished cigarettes or other refuse in receptacles provided for that purpose.
  • The use of unmanned aerial vehicles (i.e. drones) is not permitted in or near PacifiCorp facilities, infrastructure or recreation sites.
  • Gas tanks must be filled away from the water, not on the boat ramp or dock.
  • Watercraft moorage is not permitted at boat ramps or docks.

 

PacifiCorp Campground Policies:

GENERAL:

  • Bring your reservation confirmation to the campground to check in; this is your ONLY PROOF of your reservation.
  • Name on reservation confirmation must match ID presented at check-in.
  • Reservations must be made under the name of the person occupying the campsite.
  • Completing a camping reservation demonstrates the customer agrees to abide with all campground rules and policies.  See Recreation Rules, Campground Policies and Fee and Cancellation Policies for information.
  • Customers are limited to 4 camping reservations (1 site per reservation) per household per season.  Maximum stay per reservation is 14 days.  Effective 2018 season: Maximum stay per reservation is 7 days.
  • If you are unable to use your reservation, it must be reassigned by request by calling (360) 238-5251, M-F,  9:00AM-4:00PM, a minimum of two days in advance to your arrival date.
  • To make a change in a reservation, please call (360) 238-5251, M-F, 9:00AM-4:00PM.  Please see Fee and Cancellation Policies for information.
  • No changes to campsites will be allowed once campers are checked in.
  • The camping cost per night for a single camp site ($18-$21) includes 5 people and 1 car.  See Fee Policies for additional people and/or additional vehicles per site.
  • The camping cost per night for group camp areas (15 sites: $315) includes a maximum of 120 people and 15 vehicles.  See Fee Policies for additional vehicles.
  • Payment for the reservation is collected at the time the reservation is made.  Additional fees may apply at the time of check in if extra people and/or vehicles are added to the reservation.  See Fee Policies for information.
  • Campground check-in time is between 4:00 PM and 8:00PM.  Effective 2018 season: campground check-in time is between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.  If campers are not checked in by 8:00PM, the entire reservation will be cancelled and will be reassigned.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  See Fee Policies section for information about no shows and early arrivals.
  • Campground check-out time is 2:00 PM.  Effective 2018 season: campground check-out time is 11:00 AMSee Fee Policies section for late departure information.
  • Campsites MUST BE OCCUPIED.  Unattended vehicles left overnight will be subject to towing at owners expense.
  • Guests who are not camping are subject to applicable day use fees.
  • Extension cords are not permitted.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Water tanks (RV/5th Wheel/Camper) cannot be filled at the campgrounds.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Gates close at 9:00PM.
  • Quiet time is 10:00PM-8:00AM. Generator use is not permitted during this time.
  • Boat moorage (where available) is for boats only.  Slips are available on a first come, first serve basis after checking in and paying balance due.
  • Personal water craft/jet skis will park in overflow area designated for campers use.

 

FEES:

  • For single camp sites: $2.00 extra will be charged for each ADDITIONAL person (over 5 people) with a MAXIMUM of 8 people and 2 tents per site.  All ADDITIONAL vehicles (over 1 vehicle) will be charged $5.00 per night and will park in overflow lot.  Fees will be collected upon check-in.
  • For group camp sites: All ADDITIONAL vehicles (over 15 vehicles) will be charged $5.00 per night and will park in overflow lot.  Fees will be collected upon check-in.
  • Due to high volume of park use, arriving campers coming before 2:00PM will be assessed a parking fee of $3.00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays IF SPACE IS AVAILABLE.
  • Due to high volume of park use, campers not checked in by 8:00 PM will be considered a “no-show”.  The reservation will be cancelled and all reservation fees forfeited.
  • A non-refundable $5 booking fee is applied to all completed reservations.
  • A non-refundable $5 fee is applied to move or lengthen a reservation.
  • Boat moorage fee is $5 per day where and when available.

 

CANCELLATIONS/REDUCTIONS IN RESERVED NIGHTS: 

  • All cancellations and changes can be made by calling (360) 238-5251 M-F, 9:00AM-4:00PM.
  • Cancellations or changes must be made by the person whose name is on the reservation.
  • Single camp sites: Cancellations/reduction in number of reserved nights change fee = cost of 1 night ($18-$21).
  • Single camp sites:  All site reservation costs are forfeited if cancellation is less than 8 calendar days of arrival date.
  • Group Sites: 29 days or more prior to arrival date: cancellations/reduction in number of reserved nights change fee = $5 per site ($75.00).
  • Group Sites 28 days or less prior to arrival date: cancellations/reduction in number of reserved nights = one night camping fee ($315).

Violators of rules or policies are subject to removal and prosecution.
