Three Buttes

Three Buttes is owned by Duke Energy. It is located near Glenrock in Converse County. Scheduled for completion by late 2009, it will be a 99-megawatt facility. Under a power purchase agreement, PacifiCorp will purchase 100 percent of the facility’s energy output. The project will have 66 1.5-megawatt turbines.
