It is located near Glenrock in Converse County. In service since December 2009. 99-megawatt facility. The project has 66 1.5-megawatt turbines. Three Buttes is owned by Duke Energy. Under a power purchase agreement, PacifiCorp will purchase 100 percent of the facility’s energy output.
