Top of the World

Top of the World is owned by Duke Energy. It is located near Glenrock in Converse County. Scheduled for completion by late 2010, it will be a 200.2-megawatt facility. Under a power purchase agreement, PacifiCorp will purchase 100 percent of the facility’s energy output. The project will have 66 1.5-megawatt turbines and 44 2.3 megawatt turbines.
