*Flows of 1200 cfs or greater are typically achieved at the powerhouse approximately 3 hours after the indicated generation unit start time.

Above information on "Unit Start Times" is only meaningful on those days when the flow releases begin at the minimum 100 cfs level and then ramp up to at least 1200 cfs.

Important Messages:

The flow release schedule from J.C. Boyle Powerhouse is a good faith estimate and not a guarantee that any releases will occur as or when estimated. Operational considerations, mechanical failure, human error, or system safety concerns could require changes to this schedule with little or no notice. PacifiCorp provides this information as a courtesy for recreational users of the river and makes no guarantee or warranty of its accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.

Recreational users should recognize that an additional 150-300 cfs of base flow occurs in the JC Boyle bypass reach between the dam and the put-in. It is recommended that all boating parties check the BLM staff gage at the put-in to verify actual flow.

Recreational users should recognize that the cfs values listed in the Hourly Estimated Flows Table are an average for the hour listed (i.e. the value for 11:00 is an average of the flows occurring between 10:00 and 11:00). Therefore, when ramping is in progress, actual turbine flow on the hour indicated may be approximately 150-300 cfs higher than the value shown.
