Transmission line construction

The Sigurd to Red Butte line segment is a critical piece of our Energy Gateway transmission expansion and is the third segment of the expansion to be built. The 345-kilovolt high-voltage transmission line stretching approximately 170 miles originates at the Sigurd Substation, near Richfield, Utah and extends south to the expanded Red Butte Substation near Central, Utah. The project was completed in May 2015.
